Drummer TERRY BOZZIO To Play On New KORN Album?
January 7, 2007According to Korn.Simpol.Net, Terry Bozzio will fill in for KORN drummer David Silveria during his temporary hiatus from the band, Martini Republic reports.
Bozzio, 56, who is long considered one of the greatest drummers in rock history, will replace David Silveria for at least one studio album and tour.
According to Martini Republic, Silveria is taking time out from the band to maintain his restaurants — Tuna Town and Silvera's Steakhouse & Lounge — plus spend quality time with his family.
Bozzio has recorded with numerous musicians on hundreds of albums across the musical spectrum, including DURAN DURAN, STEVE VAI, PAUL HYDE, HERBIE HANCOCK, DWEEZIL ZAPPA, BILLY SHEEHAN, RICHARD MARX, MATSUMOTO HIDETO, and more.
KORN is currently writing and recording material for its eighth studio album. An MTV "Unplugged" performance taped last month will be broadcast and released on CD in February.
